    TICCIH COLOMBIA

TICCIH Colombia is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established as an association on May 14, 2013 with legal capacity to act within the framework of Colombian and international laws, with legal capacity to act for the achievement of its objectives.

TICCIH Colombia corresponds to its international counterpart (www.ticcih.org) and has similar purposes to this organization, in the development of actions that consolidate at a global level a meeting point for activities that revolve around research, rescue , valuation, conservation, diffusion, education, projection and management of archaeology, architecture, urbanism and industrial heritage in the Colombian territory.

        GOALS​.​

  • Promote and carry out all kinds of activities of goods and services that promote the study, rescue, conservation, restoration, inventory education and cataloging, protection and dissemination and social participation on archeology, architecture, urbanism and Colombian industrial landscape.​

  • Study, catalogue, analyze and preserve all material, movable and immovable remains, including infrastructure, landscape, graphic and documentary archives resulting from industrial activity. As well as immaterial, human manifestations, such as traditions, customs, cultural and labor relations that occurred around industrial activities.

  • Promote the exchange of scientific, technical, practical and organizational information between researchers, industrial workers, business and industry owners, civil organizations and cultural and governmental institutions and researchers, responsible for studies, conservation, restoration and reuse of industrial heritage.

  • Establish collaboration and cooperation agreements with civil associations, researchers, professionals from various areas of knowledge and specialized organizations, as well as with local, regional, national and international government institutions that share the same objectives.

  • Organize forums, seminars, congresses and national and international meetings to exchange work, experiences and obtain or give support.

  • Disseminate the Colombian industrial heritage, in the country and abroad, through conferences, videos, publications and traveling exhibitions.

  • Promote the management, organization and administration of economic and professional resources among individuals, associations and institutions to achieve the proposed objectives.
